I am quite excited over a happy accidental order, whereby I inadvertently ordered a small quantity of "hydrosols" instead of essential oils as intended.  Planning to pack these up and return them, I called SunRose Aromatics - but opted to try samples at home instead.  I am so pleased with this product that I have ordered a nice selection for the store!  Hydrosols are the water by-product which occurs when oils are extracted by steam - oil and water do not mix, so the oil is packaged as such and the water (containing the herbal essences as well) are bottled into small atomizers which have many uses.  Kept refrigerated after opening, they last 18 months to two years.  The mist is very fine, my daughter and I have been spraying our faces over the past two weeks and have barely made a dent in the 1 oz. bottles.  To quickly summarize only a few uses for each, we have Hydrosol of Cedarwood - good for dermatitis, allergic rashes, inflamed acne; Hydrosol of Frankincense - misted over the face and allowed to air dry, this gives new life to aging skin and smooths out wrinkles; Hydrosol of Geranium Wild - calms sunburns, rashes, insect bites, dry skin and makes a lovely perfume/body spray; Hydrosol of Rose Bulgaria - controls and balances sebum production therefore useful for dry and oily skin, restores skin's pH and helps tighten pores, promotes balance, aids emotional processing; Hydrosol of Lavendar - children love this calming scent, spray on pillows as part of the bedtime ritual also for burns, a pre-shave face prep for men ... and much much more!Information cards will be on-hand, and the hydrosols are reasonably priced at $10.00 - $15.00 each.
