Meditation Workshop
Wednesday Evenings ~ 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
Same day, same cost ($ 5.00) with a new instructor - Leafweave, of the Circle of the Sacred Well. Leaveweave has led Circle meditations for almost seven years and is has received formal training in shamanism and energy work. Leafweave will lead us in energy work meditation and notes that we have the ability to be the source of positive energy and change. Like a stone dropped in a pond, the ripples extend outward and have an impact in our world. This work is therefore empowering to those who participate. The purpose of our gathering will be to learn to work together to raise and direct energy towards a purpose with intent. The intent will vary depending on consensus within the group - healing for ourselves or others; directing energy to bring peace; heal a community or specific world situation - are all possibilities.
From an early age, Leafweave sensed that there was something more going on than meets the eye. He began experimenting with sympathetic magic before he knew the name for it. An assignment to the United Kingdom as a member of the United States Air Force (USAF) in 1986 led to an interest in ancient Western European religions. Over the next 15 years, Leafweave spent a great deal of time while living in Europe visiting ancient sacred sites. He developed an interest in the ley lines found running through many such sites and in the energies of such places of power. When he put a name to his beliefs, he called them Wiccan.
